About the programme
The Internal Auditing programme is fully aligned with the growing importance of risk management. The programme addresses the impact of information technology and the vast amounts of data it generates. You will gain knowledge of the most up-to-date auditing techniques and examine a wide range of processes and systems – from production to logistics, and from marketing to human resources.

'I still use the knowledge I acquired during the BIV AO course almost every day when solving audit-related issues.'
Sacha le Feber - Manager Process & Control Improvement at Heineken
The curriculum
In the first year of the programme, you will explore the broad spectrum of disciplines within auditing. In the second year, you will deepen your expertise in the field of internal auditing. This provides you with everything you need to obtain the internationally recognised CIA certification. You will also begin your graduation project in this year.

Wondering if this programme is a good fit for you?
Who will you be studying with?
We keep our classes small and personal, providing plenty of opportunities to ask questions. There is also ample space for group discussions, and you will collaborate on audit cases. You will therefore learn a lot from your fellow students and their specific fields of expertise. Additionally, in the first year, you will attend lectures alongside students from Digital Auditing and Sustainability Auditing.

‘The management expects internal auditors to maximise their contribution to the organisation's value. These auditors can only meet this expectation if they understand the needs of management, master auditing techniques and are able to analyse organisational challenges. That’s why we offer a programme that blends theory with a strong practical foundation.'
